One of my clients wholesale ribbon. They stock 1" white or ivory satin ribbon at £3 per 25m roll or 38mm ribbon at £5 per roll. A bit poncy having satin but I can't come up with any other ideas and it is still outstanding on the list. Could be re-issued as bandages?

Or if anyone is near a Staples they sell yellow/black or red/white plastic warning tape for £6 or so for 70mm x 500m.

You can get 500m of boundary tape for about a tenner, I'll see if I can source some in time.

LOL, that's why I was hoping Stephen would pop out for some - I rarely go near shops myself!

You still could, I don't trust the royal fail at all. Never hurts to have spare boundary tape!

I think it might be a good idea this weekend if we got some photo's of the site, to help drum up interest for Hut 9. Building always attract players for some reason.

Went over to Nottingham to pick up your tent last night. The smelly thing will have to stop in the car until Saturday as I've got nowhere to put it!

I'll see if I can clear some space in my garage. I've just bought a caravan as well, I am getting too old to freeze my nuts off and sleep out in the cold!

Close Action have just announce on Facebook that they're using the HQ complex on Sunday, so it should be good for us to scope out too.

Perhaps we can shoehorn in some last minute building clearance!!

At the very least we'll check it out!

I'm going to PM the participant's our mobile numbers - the gate will be locked and we will need to be advised of those held up etc.

I have Stephen's as 07962467676 but I don't have Pete's (heh, I'm SURE you have a mobile now!)

I'd like to politely request that you NEVER give Gadge my phone number.

Happy for it to be circulated this time though.

Pete, am I coming to you or are you coming to me tomorrow morning?? Can't remember what we said.

Either way, we should aim to leave by 9am to get there for 10am. Chris said he'd get there for 10am didn't he?

Are you bringing your Dutch oven? If so, I'll grab some meat and veg tonight and return the favour from FL and cook a slow cooked meal for the three of us. Something with beef or chicken, or maybe a slow cooked pork.

Also, do we know if Evo's tent is pitchable at least? I'll pack the pup tent in case.

I haven't looked at it but I'd be surprised if you bought a tent from Evo that wasn't pitchable. AFAIK it has poles, pegs, mallet, tent and flysheet. And is impregnated with the spirit of Gadge and Nige, to keep you company at night. :x

You were coming to me Steve, if I recall. I've got a load of stuff to pack in the wife's 4x4 (most of it not mine!). Chris said he'd be there between 1000hrs and 1030hrs. If you can get to mine for 0830hrs, that would be spiffing.

We won't have time to do any dutch oven cooking unfortunately, in fact, we won't be back in camp until it's dark! Evo said that the main poles are broken on the tent and need replacing, so don't bank on that one. I'm wussing out and going for my modern, nylon (and bright orange) tent.

The wooden poles on the tent were indeed broken but they have been repaired by Nige so are servicable.

Excellent. I'kk bring a decent tent just in case....and some Febreze.

I'll be there for 8.30am Pete.

I was thinking we might able to keep a fire going from midday for cooking, but no worries. Perhaps a visit to the nearest chippy would be better. ;)

Yes, tent contingency is a good idea, this thing might be full of holes. Glory holes. :potnoodle:
